Did you make the same mistake most of us made in the early 90’s and over pluck your eyebrows? We can’t blame you, the style back then was thin eyebrows! However, things have very much changed from that unnatural thin look to an extremely full natural brow that has some of us wishing we never touched our eyebrows in the first place!

Luckily for you and us (ha), we have a few steps to follow to help you grow back your eyebrows and sport that full natural look that celebrities like Sofia Vergara have us lusting over.

How does one grow back their eyebrows? Unlike the hair on our head, brows don't grow back as quickly.

As Kristie Streicher, eyebrow expert and Dr. Patricia Wexler note; Stop tweezing, waxing, etc completely for 15 weeks. Yes. Completely. Just stop. If you really want your brows to grow and you’ve been over tweezing, you need to play the long game.

Your brows will look really weird at first. If you see brow hairs sticking straight out or growing in the wrong direction, it could be a result from previous tweezing or waxing. Leave them alone and use a brow gel.

Your brow hairs will start to fully come in somewhere between four and six months. Some might come in earlier. You will start to see new hair growth on your brows around the arch or the ends. Streicher advises, “The new hair growth will be short and may still grow in at different angles or in the wrong direction. But over time, the new hair WILL grow in the correct direction.” She adds that it may take up to 12 months for your brow hair to fully pad-out.
